The Wildlife Rescue Emergency Service (WRES) is a leader in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of wildlife back to their native habitat. We respond to emergencies such as bush-fire, flooding, or any other event across Victoria impacting on native wildlife. WRES is the first and last line of call regarding the rescue, rehabilitation and release of native wildlife.
The Wildlife Rescue Emergency Service responds to calls to help wildlife. We aim to care for wildlife so they can be released back to their native habitat. We work with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning to conduct wildlife rescues during emergency events (such as wildfires and floods).
W.R.E.S. is about the rescue, rehabilitation and release of wildlife. We provide support services to injured and endangered wildlife within the Central Victorian and greater Victorian regions.
