Comments: The Redlands Wildlife Care Network originated in recognition of the long arduous hours and selfless diligence of our local carers. It aims to facilitate the care and rehabilitation of injured or orphaned wildlife to enhance understanding of our local fauna.
These volunteers work on a weekly roster and basically perform triage on our wildlife calls by either providing advice on the spot (hopefully alleviating the need for the animal to come into care) or organising for a carer or support volunteer to contact the caller (thus leaving the anxious caller with the cost of only one phone call and a greater sense of satisfaction and accomplishment).
You can also contact the RSPCA on 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625) from anywhere in Qld.
