We rescue, rehabilitate and release native wildlife in the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne and are based in Hurstbridge. Nicola Rae is a veterinary nurse and works with wildlife and domestic animals at the Lort Smith animal hospital. Together we run a wildlife shelter and network with many other carers in our area. We look after many species of birds, (except raptors), possums, gliders, reptiles (except snakes), bats and flying foxes, juvenile macropods and wombats. Jo Osborne is our foster carer who lives in the inner city suburbs and also Beaufort where she will be setting up her own shelter in the future.
